Choosing a baby sunscreen means above all choosing the right format and the right SPF for the child's age. Here are our Naïf, Monjour and Les Petits Prodiges sunscreens, sticks and sprays, and an after-sun product.
The sunscreens in our selection
- Fragrance-free mineral sunscreen SPF 50, Naïf: high UVA and UVB protection with a non-nano zinc oxide mineral filter, water-resistant according to the brand.
- Mineral sunscreen spray SPF 50, Naïf: the same mineral filter in a spray, to quickly cover the arms and legs.
- Face sunscreen stick SPF 50, Les Petits Prodiges: high protection for the face; the brand presents it as usable from birth and without white marks.
- Sunscreen stick SPF 50, Monjour: for the face and lips, from 6 months (20 g).
- Invisible sunscreen spray SPF 50+, Monjour: very high protection for the face and body, from 1 year (100 ml).
- Fragrance-free after-sun spray, Naïf: a refreshing touch after returning from the beach or the pool.
Baby sunscreen: mineral or organic, stick or spray?
Naïf sunscreens use a mineral filter, zinc oxide, while Monjour sunscreens and the Les Petits Prodiges stick use organic filters. The stick is practical for the face and touch-ups on the go, the spray for quickly covering the body.
Good practices in the sun
Sunscreen doesn't do it all: we do not expose babies and young children directly to the sun, we favor shade, a hat and a t-shirt, and we reapply often, especially after swimming. To complete, discover our children's sunglasses.

An SPF 50 corresponds to the "high protection" category, an SPF 50+ to the "very high protection" category.
From what age should these sunscreens be used?
According to the brands: the Les Petits Prodiges stick from birth, the Monjour stick from 6 months, the Monjour spray from 1 year, and the Naïf sunscreens for babies and children. Before 6 months, Naïf advises favoring shade and clothing.
